Ken
Lampar has over 25 years of experience in fundraising, event planning
and campaign management. He has raised money, planned events and
managed campaigns for various Democratic and non-partisan candidates
including candidates for the U.S. House and Senate, Michigan statewide
candidates, Michigan House and Senate, countywide officials, county
commissioners, local and judicial candidates, state-wide and local
Democratic Party committees, and several charitable/non-profit organizations.
Ken started his professional experience as a grassroots countywide
organizer on a U. S. Senate campaign in Macomb County; provided five
years of fundraising and administrative support in Michigan Governor
James Blanchard's Executive Office and re-election campaign in 1986;
three years of fundraising at the Michigan Democratic Party; and for
15 years, provided fundraising, community outreach, grant writing
and administrative support in the Macomb County Prosecuting Attorney's
Office.
Ken's community and volunteer involvement has included projects with:

Ken Lampar was born and raised in Macomb County, Michigan.
He graduated from Adlai Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights,
Michigan in 1975. Ken attended Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan
and received his B.A. in history in 1979. He earned his Master in
Public Administration degree from Western Michigan University at its
Lansing Center while working for Michigan Governor James J. Blanchard
in 1985. Lampar received a Fellowship for the Michigan Political Leadership
Program at Michigan State University that he completed in 1995. He
participated in an Executive Program at Harvard Universitys
John F. Kennedy School of Government in July 1999.
Ken and his wife, Deborah McMillan Lampar, an attorney, have one son,
Kyle.
