Lampar has created & served on several non-profit and candidate fundraising committees, including: • American Cancer Society's Cancer Action Network • Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team 'N' Training • March of Dimes • numerous candidate committees Lampar has created direct-mail appeals for: • Michigan Democratic Party candidates, including State Representative and Prosecuting Attorney Lampar created & directed: • 1,000 statewide house parties on a single day for a Michigan gubernatorial candidate • Michigan Democratic Party dinner with seven Presidential candidates & 2,300 guests • $100,000 fundraising campaign for his own State Representative race in 1992. Grant-Writing Services: Lampar has thoroughly researched, successfully written & properly administered grants from: • U.S. Department of Justice & the Office of National Drug Control Policy • Local Law Enforcement Block Grants • Drug-Free Community Support Program funds These grants have provided over $500,000 to local & countywide anti-drug coalitions that initiated substance abuse prevention projects for Macomb County youth. Lampar has been awarded three Community Foundation grants from the City of Sterling Heights, Michigan and Shelby Township, Michigan to provide tobacco prevention presentations at the area elementary schools. Lampar has written several grant applications to national funding sources, including the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation; and local funding sources, including the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan and "Creating a Healthier Macomb."
